The annual Nilgiri Tahr census will be held from 27th April to May 3rd 2008.
The census is an eagerly awaited event by people keen about Nilgiri Tahr conservation. It also gives a chance to explore the interior parts of the park where tourists are not allowed.
People who are keen to participate as volunteers are requested to contact Mr Roy P Thomas, wildlife warden immediately.
